How do I get a quotation, and how much are they?

Getting a quote is free and easy.

Contact us for a free consultation, site visit and no-obligation quote, valid for 30 Days.

All quotes come formally written, itemised and emailed electronically.

How do I accept a quotation?

The most straightforward way to accept a quotation is by replying via email. We can then discuss the next steps, including scheduling the work and arranging logistics such as parking and access.

How quickly can you start the work after I accept the quotation?

Whilst we strive to schedule work as soon as possible, there may be delays due to exceptionally busy periods and various factors outside our control.

During the winter months, from October to February, our business experiences a high demand, and inclement weather conditions can result in delays.

Work on protected trees and those within conservation areas will require permission, which may take up to 8 weeks. See our TPO and Conservation page for further details.

At South London Tree Surgery, we strive to schedule all work to accommodate your individual requirements and availability.

Please ask about our availability if you’re working to specific time constraints.

Do you require to my home, e.g. for electricity?

Provided there is suitable access to remove logs, branches and other arising from your property, i.e. side access, then we won’t need access to your home.

Furthermore, our equipment is powered by diesel, petrol, or cordless batteries, eliminating the need for electricity.

How will you leave my garden?

We will ensure to leave your garden tidy, minimising any signs of our presence.

Unless agreed otherwise, we will remove all waste and tidy the area by hand, blowing the last of the debris with a handheld leaf blower.

Depending on the size of the tree/project, there may be some lawn damage, but we will do our best to keep this to a minimum.

We’ll use preventative measures, for example, ground protection mats when using heavy machinery on saturated ground.

South London Tree Surgery has an excellent reputation for leaving properties in great condition, often better than before we arrive.

What happens to all the waste, logs, timber, branches, etc?

We have a green waste carries license and dispose of all waste responsibly.

Most arisings from our tree surgery operations are re-purposed, and we send any remaining green waste to power stations for biomass.

You are also welcome to keep the material, i.e. woodchip or logs, but you must request this beforehand so we can detail it in the quotation.
